2025/11/XX (Lunch)
Continuing from yesterday, I visited this restaurant as part of the third installment in the restaurant area of the Toranomon Arcea Tower (TORANOMON MARCHE).
When you mention "Captain Kangaroo," it’s a famous burger shop in Okinawa that always has long lines. Their catchphrase is "The burger you want to be embraced by, ranked #1 for 13 consecutive times." I visited their Nago location once before they moved to Motobu Town. I never expected a branch to open so close to my workplace, so this was fantastic news.
The menu is diverse and features many original items. I ordered their signature dish.

The seating inside is mostly counter seats, making it a bit cramped. It can be challenging to pass through when customers are seated on both sides of the aisle.
I ordered with no customers ahead of me, but it took almost 15 minutes for the food to arrive, which felt a bit long. The Sparky Burger had an impressive height, just like in the photos. I had to squish it into the burger bag, and it was still so big that it felt like my jaw might dislocate.
The first thing that hit me was the smoky aroma of the bacon and patty. The patty had a nice char, reminiscent of a smash burger, and was rich in meaty flavor. The combination of crispy fried onions, juicy patty, and crunchy bacon was incredibly delicious.
The harmony of the main ingredients with BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, vegetables like tomatoes, and the bun exceeded my expectations for a high-level gourmet burger.
The portion of French fries was small, but the drink was a generous size.
The friendly service from the staff was also a plus, making for a highly satisfying burger lunch. I ordered the most expensive burger, so the total exceeded JPY 2,000 with the set, but there are also reasonably priced options, making it feel affordable for a gourmet burger.
After sitting down, I noticed the app, and if you download and register the "food app," you can purchase burgers at a great discount, so I recommend doing that in advance.
I hope to revisit while the app discounts are still valid.
