Since its opening in 2012, Daikanyama's "Äta" has enjoyed great popularity. The interior, inspired by a bistro in a European port town, showcases the chef's unique sense of style, creating a pleasant ...atmosphere.
The name "Äta," which means "to eat" in Swedish, reflects the desire for guests to simply enjoy the act of eating. The chef, Tetsuji Kakegawa, features a menu that boldly highlights seafood dishes, using whole shell-on shrimp, shellfish, and fish with plenty of meat on the bones. The signature dish, Bouillabaisse, is a generous serving that includes a whole seasonal fish along with mussels, squid, and shrimp.
