Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1971. After suffering from food allergies in childhood, he developed an interest in food. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in Tsuji Culinary Institute. Following graduation, he honed his skills for 13 years at renowned restaurants such as "Kyoto Kitcho" and "Hanakitcho." With a desire to "cook while facing the customers," he opened "Ryori Akiyama" in 2006. His delicate dishes, which convey a deep respect for ingredients, continue to resonate with those who visit.
