15 Live Fish Tanks.
As the birthplace of live squid sashimi, "Osakana-dokoro Yobuko Genkai" opened its doors in 1969. Inside, you'll find several tanks that create an aquarium-like atmosphere. Enjoy not only the live squ...id sashimi but also fresh seafood from Genkai-nada and Goto, served as sashimi, fried dishes, and grilled items.
All dishes on the menu feature live fish, including the signature "Live Squid Sashimi," as well as live fish from Genkai-nada such as "Gin Saba," "Gin Aji," "Tai," and "Uni."
The tanks are supplied with seawater directly from Genkai-nada next to the restaurant, and we regularly circulate the "tank seawater" with "outside seawater" to maintain a fresh environment suitable for live fish.
