◆Announcement of sister stores◆ |
2021-22 This is a travel romance that came to Saga City in Saga Prefecture during a trip to Kyushu during the year-end and New Year holidays. Sixth day of the trip. I received a call during the day. I received a phone call informing me that Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant in front of Saga Station that I had booked for tonight had caught fire and would be temporarily closed. When I was watching NHK's local news on the hotel TV, it seemed like there was a real fire. Fortunately, it was only a blur. Dear Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Kakura, we would like to express our condolences. I will make a quick call to find a replacement Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant. The second restaurant I was able to get a reservation for was Gyugyu, a charcoal-Yakiniku (Grilled meat) yakiniku restaurant located on Aikei-cho 1-chome, where Aikei Street and Magpie Street intersect. It is an entertainment district at night. First visit at 8pm. Appearance like a storehouse. I'll let you sit at the counter. Of course, what you're looking for is Saga beef, a brand of Wagyu beef. This is not a Saga beef specialty store, so there are a few different varieties available. According to the menu, there are three types: seared loin, lean ribs, and top ribs. I was told that the grilled loin was not available today, so I ordered the lean ribs and top ribs, as well as an assortment of vegetables. Before that, I'm going to have a little beer and Chinese cabbage kimchi. [b:◇ Chinese cabbage kimchi... 380 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Saga beef lean ribs... 1000 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Saga beef top ribs... 1650 yen (tax included)] [ b:◇ Assorted vegetables... 830 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Grilled yukhoe with black crab... 1050 yen (tax included)] [b:◇ Bibimbap... 830 yen (tax included)] [b:◆ Bottled beer Asahi Super Dry Medium Bottle... 630 yen (tax included)] [b:◆ Sake Tenzan Selected Hot Sake One Go... 450 yen (tax included)] [b:◆ Sake Nabeshima Junmaishu Cold Sake 300ml... 1480 yen ( (Tax included)] [b:◆ Potato shochu Shima Bijin with hot water... 500 yen (Tax included)] Charcoal-Yakiniku (Grilled meat) is also available at the counter. Standby complete, let's grill the Saga beef. The Saga beef is served on a stainless steel plate with a Saga beef sticker affixed to it, each weighing 6 slices and weighing 80g. There are three types of sauce: sweet sauce, miso sauce, and sweet and spicy sauce. I also received gochujang (mustard miso). Grated garlic, wasabi, black pepper, and salt are on the counter. Both are beautifully marbled beef. Red meat looks red. It is sprinkled with green onions. The thickness is about 1cm. Another top rib. It has a nice marbling and is a pale pinkish red. The thickness is 5mm. Therefore, it is larger than lean ribs. Good meat should not be overcooked, so eat it only when the surface changes color. After all, it tastes like it melts in your mouth. Delicious♪ I wanted to try the loin as well, but that's a shame. I enjoyed it with a selection of hot sake from Ogi City's sake, Tenzan. The vegetable platter includes onions, green peppers, pumpkin, eggplant, and corn. Since it contains corn, I think it's worth 830 yen. After enjoying the Saga beef, I additionally ordered the grilled domestic beef yukhoe. There are onions at the bottom, egg yolks in the middle, and 8 slices arranged like octopus legs. I sigh as I look at the beautifully marred Saga beef from earlier. Popular premium sake can also be enjoyed locally. Enjoy with 300ml of Nabeshima pure rice sake. After all, Nabeshima is fruity. The yukhoe is not good, but the sake is delicious. I drank the sweet potato shochu mixed with hot water from Shima Bijin, and that was it for the alcoholic beverage. To finish off your meal, have bibimbap. Not stone-grilled, but regular bibimbap. It also contains bean sprouts, spinach, zenmai, Chinese cabbage namul, and beef. The bibimbap with egg yolk and shredded seaweed in the middle is rather small in size. Mix and match. The taste is ok. I think it would have been better to have it stone-fired. The staff consists of 3 men and 1 woman. I felt that there were some problems with the service, such as the hot sake being forgotten and having to wait at the entrance for about 5 minutes to get a seat. The store manager, Mr. Nonaka, was friendly. This is Ookini. The recommended drink set is 1,650 yen. There are many reasonably priced beef offal and chicken menus, so I think Gyugyu-san is a good restaurant for people who just want to eat Yakiniku (Grilled meat), not just Saga beef. It was a feast.
