I have found delicious Italian cuisine near Sakurai Station!
Lunch is only available through phone reservations! I made a call and visited Osteria Shoru for the first time.
Osteria Shoru is located at 1F Villa Nuvola Alba, 3-14-16 Hanchou, Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture, just a 5-minute walk from "Sakurai" Station on the Hankyu Minoh Line.
Opened in 2022, this Italian restaurant is run by a chef from Sakuragumi in Akō, Banshu.
After checking the navigation, I arrived at the restaurant just after 11 a.m.

Operating hours: 11:30–15:00 (Last Order 14:00)
17:30–22:00 (Last Order 21:00)
Reservations are accepted, and lunch is available by phone only, with entry times at 11:30 and 13:00.
Dinner can be reserved online (limited to 3 groups).
Customers who reserve a course for lunch or dinner up to the day before will receive an upgraded appetizer and a special dessert made by the chef.

I was at the front of the line! By 11:30 when they opened, there were already 10 people waiting outside.
When the time came, I was allowed to take photos and sat at the counter. The whole restaurant is non-smoking, with a total of 20 seats (14 tables and 4 counters, maximum 6). The stylish interior is decorated with chosen items.
The lunch menu offers four options: lunch with appetizers, lunch with a small soup and appetizers, lunch course, and full lunch course!
With prior reservations, dinner courses can also be provided during lunch hours.
Today’s pasta features three types, and they have a limited edition deer meat lasagna (additional JPY 100).
Since I was lucky to arrive first, I chose the limited quantity!
I ordered the lunch with appetizers and the deer meat lasagna.
Total: lunch with appetizers JPY 2,000, and deer meat lasagna + JPY 100, totaling JPY 2,100.
When taking my order, they provided detailed and polite explanations.
The restaurant’s Instagram mentions, "Osaka's longest explanation, with much preparation involved, make this love-filled cuisine a must-try,” and I felt that to be true.

Today’s focaccia was made with buckwheat, and of course, they confirmed any buckwheat allergies beforehand. Each dish is carefully prepared and beautifully plated, taking some time.
After a brief wait, the assorted appetizers arrived.
They looked stunning!!! They also kindly explained each dish.

The cauliflower soufflé was made from pureed cauliflower combined with mussel consomme, resembling chawanmushi (steamed egg custard)!
The fluffy texture, natural fragrance of cauliflower, and richness from the mussels were amazing!
The marinated red cabbage was nicely moist!
The vegetable bagna cauda featured squid liver, garlic, and anchovies at the bottom, highlighting the vegetables' natural sweetness.
The assorted appetizer platter included various textures, balanced sweetness, saltiness, bitterness, acidity, and umami, making it a fantastic presentation.
After finishing the appetizers, the main course arrived shortly after.
A piping hot lasagna was served in a heat-resistant container!
The chef possesses a hunting license and sometimes offers game dishes!
The deer meat lasagna featured plenty of cheese along with deer meat and tomato sauce!
The cheese was delicious, enhancing the wild flavor of the deer meat.
The buckwheat focaccia was beautifully sliced, fragrant, and delightful.
I made sure to scoop up all the sauce and cheese from the lasagna using the focaccia, and it was a blissful completion of the meal!
While it took a little time, the overall volume and quality of the dishes were definitely worth it.
After settling the bill, I thanked the staff at Osteria Shoru and left the place behind.
