押し迫ってきましたね : Jumbo Curry

This year's last lunch in Osaka is at Jumbo Curry!
Last time, I had a painful experience with the spicy curry, so today I’ll go for something more normal.
I ordered the W Lunch.

It has a variety of toppings, which makes it a bit fun.
I hope I can come back again next year!

The changes around Chichu seem to be accelerating day by day...
Jumbo Curry is still here, thank goodness!
It looks like it has returned even more beautifully.

To celebrate, I decided to challenge myself with the spicy curry.
Spicy Curry (Large, Extra Sauce) - JPY 850

Unlike the mild curry, this one was quite intense.
I struggled a bit, but managed to handle it.
I’m really happy to know that I can look forward to visiting again!

I think this might be my last business trip of the year... heading to Osaka.

I want to explore, but also need something quick, so I headed to Jumbo Curry.

I ordered the W Katsu Curry, choosing from four options (pork cutlet, chicken, minced meat, and fish).
Hmm... I went with chicken and fish.

When my order was taken, they called it 'Chiki Shiro!'
I wondered what 'Chiki Chiki' meant when I heard it from the previous customer’s order, and now I get it!
It was a little fun.

I got a satisfying plate with crunchy chicken cutlet and crispy fish fry, all drenched in a generous amount of curry sauce.
I enjoyed alternating between the two flavors.

I overheard a subsequent customer ordering extra curry sauce, and when I asked at checkout, they said it’s an additional JPY 50.
I’ll have to try that next time!

While riding the Shinkansen to Shin-Osaka, I was busy with desk work and remote meetings.
Upon arriving at Shin-Osaka Station, I hurried to the Midosuji Line platform.

Just in time, a train arrived, and I hopped on...
I got off at Senri-Chuo, took a quick look around, but I decided to go straight to Jumbo Curry.

I ordered the large Hamburg Curry.

A tiny fried egg came with it too.
Ah, finally settled in...
The perfectly firm rice complemented the curry well.

I love the atmosphere of this place and keep coming back.
A great price at JPY 850, totally satisfied!

I avoided the crowded Midosuji Line this morning due to my large luggage.
I decided to do some desk work at my accommodation before heading to the Osaka office around noon.

What should I have for lunch...
Near Senri-Chuo Station... I don't have much time...
I guess Jumbo Curry is the place to go.

Today, I’ll try the unique Katsudon Curry (large) that only this place offers.

I took a seat among what seemed to be regular customers, and I felt the excitement building.

After a while, my order arrived.
It was a luxurious version with a fluffy omelet and katsu on top, accompanied by mixed vegetables.
The curry, katsu, and rice were harmoniously complemented by the omelet.
Although it was probably my first time trying this combination, it didn’t feel awkward at all.

I felt a warm and cozy vibe.

Every time I come back from the office in Osaka, it's always closed. ;つД｀)

Today, I made an exception and insisted on visiting a place I wanted to go.

Since I was here, I went for the Kimagure Jumbo! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

A delightful combination of curry rice and curry spaghetti.
What a fun experience! (*´▽｀*)

But the biggest treat was the atmosphere of the restaurant. (●´ω｀●)

I'll definitely come back!
