| Restaurant highlights |
Just a 5-minute walk from Tenmabashi Station, this classic Italian-style restaurant is perfect for gatherings of up to 45 people.
An Italian restaurant since 1978, we offer homemade bread and rustic tarts, along with simple yet delicious dishes and friendly service. We have been supported by a diverse range of customers over the years. |
The atmosphere here is reminiscent of a nostalgic coffee shop, with a view of the park from the window.
The interior is spacious, and since it was quite empty, we were told we could sit wherever we liked.
The menu features a variety of Western dishes, with prices a bit on the higher side. Pasta and pot-au-feu seem to be particularly popular. Lunch comes with salad and bread, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of bread offered.
There was a self-service station for butter and rusk, so I took a little bit. The rusk came in two varieties: sweet and savory.
They also have a drink set, so it seems ideal to relax with a coffee.
I was intrigued by the Conchiglie and decided to order it. It was like a gratin with large macaroni, filled with crab and spinach. Although it was served in a large dish, it was thin, so the portion wasn't too overwhelming, which might be why there were many female customers.
The piping hot Conchiglie, with its light cream sauce and snow crab, was refreshingly delicious.
