Casual yet High-Level Italian Cuisine!
Incredible value for a casual Italian dining experience!
I visited VIA GIOVE QUATTRO for the first time.
Amidst the bustling crowds of the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street in Tenma during the weekend, this restaurant offers a tranquil atmosphere that feels like a different world, perfect for adults.
The Caprese salad featured exceptionally sweet cherry tomatoes, perfectly balanced with salt, while the smoked duck with balsamic sauce truly lived up to its reputation—it's simply delicious.
The seafood salad was lavishly filled with shrimp, octopus, and seaweed, showcasing a commitment to genuine and unadulterated flavors.
Both the pasta and risotto were cooked to perfection, demonstrating a high level of skill.
The fish dishes and grilled beef paired wonderfully with wine, and I indulged in the house wine, which somewhat clouded my memory of the subsequent flavors.
I can't help but wish to try more of this chef’s creations as an omakase experience. It was outstanding Italian cuisine, and the casual vibe at a great price is an additional charm!

I previously visited VIA GIOVE QUATTRO located on the second floor of the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street and had such a great experience that I decided to return.
The classical atmosphere of the restaurant allows for a calm and enjoyable conversation.
I opted for the full course, which included:
- Chilled conger eel, roasted duck, and yellowtail carpaccio as appetizers
- Shirasu pasta
- Porcini risotto
- A dish featuring white fish (I can't recall the name)
- Grilled beef
- For dessert, I chose panna cotta.
For drinks, I had:
- Draft beer
- A bottle of red wine (Merini La Selvanella Chianti Classico Riserva 2019).
The attentive service made it feel like a high-end restaurant while still being casual, and every dish was elegant and delicious. If I were to rate just the food, I would say it’s a notch above typical Italian cuisine.
The red wine had a bit of weight but was easy to drink, with a pleasant smoky aroma, and it was served in a suitable glass, making it incredibly enjoyable.
For payment, I had the option of cash or credit card, so I chose to pay with my credit card.
