"Con-combre" for lunch after 4 PM.
There are smoking sofas in the front of the restaurant, which feel more spacious compared to the table seats indoors, making it a prime spot. When I visited, there were no smokers, but if someone were to smoke there, the smell could waft into the restaurant depending on the wind direction. It's a smoker-friendly place.
The lunch menu consists of five options: Omurice, two types of curry with a combination, and grilled chicken, all served with a drink. The choices are priced at JPY 1,200 or JPY 1,500. I opted for the grilled chicken.
Grilled chicken thigh with Gorgonzola sauce for JPY 1,500. Shortly after placing the order, I received a salad and my selected drink (iced tea). However, it took about 20 minutes for the main dish to arrive after that. The chicken had a crispy skin and was moist and juicy on the inside, topped with a generous amount of mild cheese cream. Although it was Gorgonzola, there wasn’t any strong taste, and it was quite delicious. The mixed grain rice was a bit dry and not very satisfying.
Even though I visited at an odd time, I appreciated that they offered both lunch and desserts.
