I visited Jidori Bouzu for a farewell party organized by my colleagues. Although we only had two days' notice, 12 people managed to gather. We started with a toast over draft beer. Our perennial organizer ordered the popular No. 1 All-you-can-drink Bouzu Course (8 dishes): seasonal sashimi, shirasu and seaweed salad, salted gizzards, spicy chijimi, the legendary hand-formed tsukune skewers, Okumikawa chicken steak with Chaliapin sauce, pork miso grilled rice balls, and melon roll cake. Everything was delicious. We toasted with draft beer at first, then enjoyed lemon sours. At the end, we took a commemorative photo together. Thank you to our department head and all the colleagues who attended. Due to various reasons, I will be leaving the company after 30 years. I received a bouquet from my colleagues, and we took a group photo. I apologize for the overly cheerful expression in the photo. I truly enjoyed the delicious food and drinks, and had a wonderful time. I am sincerely grateful and would love to visit again.
