I visited on a Saturday afternoon.
The layout on the first floor features a counter that seats around 7 to 8 people, two 4-person tables, and three small raised tatami areas accommodating 6 people each. It seems there are also seats on the second floor (perhaps another tatami room?). When we arrived, the first floor was nearly full, and we were seated at the only available raised area.
We ordered the lunch we were aiming for: I had the chirashi sushi, and my wife ordered the nigiri sushi. When the dishes were served, we noticed that besides the type of sushi, the other sides were the same. They included a clam miso soup, fried horse mackerel, chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard), and a spaghetti salad. The toppings for the chirashi sushi consisted of tuna, bonito, shrimp, squid, sea bream, octopus, eggs, perilla leaves, and pickled ginger.
The toppings were decent, but the sushi rice was a letdown. It was slightly warm—neither hot nor cold. Also, the vinegar flavor was inconsistent; some bites tasted normal, while others lacked flavor entirely. The rice preparation needs improvement. The spaghetti salad was also bland in terms of mayonnaise flavor. On the other hand, the fried horse mackerel and chawanmushi were delicious.
Looking at the menu, there was a good selection of set meals. Additionally, the atmosphere felt more like a traditional Japanese restaurant than just a sushi place. It felt about 60% sushi restaurant and 40% Japanese dining.
The parking lot was spacious and easy to navigate, but the national route No. 1 nearby had heavy traffic.
