Today, I made a reservation over the phone for this restaurant after checking out a review by "moe.grumen" and drove there with my family.
The restaurant has counter seats and two tatami-mat rooms. We chose to sit in the tatami room and looked at the menu displayed on the wall. We ordered several dishes and enjoyed a non-alcoholic beer (JPY 550) while waiting for our food.
Tonpei Cheese (JPY 660)
The crispy cabbage paired excellently with tender pork, gooey cheese, and a drizzle of ketchup and mayonnaise.
Yakisoba (JPY 660)
This soft, chewy yakisoba was lightly flavored with sauce and packed with cabbage and pork, allowing us to savor the umami of the vegetables and meat.
Karaage Chicken (JPY 660)
These crispy young chicken thighs were perfectly fried, with rich flavors infused into the meat, and finished with a squeeze of lemon.
Honmon Yaki (JPY 980)
The chewy, textured honmon was stir-fried with onions and bean sprouts, and the sauce complemented it perfectly, enhancing its flavor.
Seseri Salt Grilled (JPY 550)
This dish featured plump meat seasoned lightly with salt for a refreshing finish, served with ponzu sauce.
Sunazuri Salt Grilled (JPY 550)
With a delightful crunchy texture, this dish had no unpleasant odor and was simply seasoned with salt, enjoyed with a squeeze of lemon.
Soba Mesh (JPY 860)
The soba, rice, pork, cabbage, and chopped green onions were stir-fried in sauce, blending their flavors with the tangy and fragrant pickled ginger enhancing the taste.
Tofu Chige "Spicy" (JPY 1,290)
I ordered this spicy version, and it arrived in a cast-iron pot filled with tofu, kimchi, mizuna, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and pork, creating a spicy kick with rich umami and sweetness.
All the dishes were delicious, but I particularly enjoyed the "Tonpei Cheese," "Soba Mesh," and "Tofu Chige."
