During my business trip, I had been eating a lot of seafood, so I was craving meat dishes when I decided to visit this restaurant.

Having dined at various places, I often find that when I revisit restaurants that I once thought were delicious, the quality has declined or the attention to detail has faded, which can be disappointing. It serves as a reminder of what I want to avoid in my own experiences. However, this restaurant turned out to be almost worry-free in that regard.

The food remains delicious, particularly the textbook-perfect shrimp tempura.
The filet steak pairs wonderfully with garlic chips as well.
The side dishes are carefully presented.
Being a Western-style dining establishment, it embodies the essence of ordering what you like and enjoying your meal.

While there were quite a few families and groups, creating a bit of hustle and bustle, I think it’s unavoidable in a popular casual restaurant.
As expected, I highly recommend the fried dishes (including cutlets) and the filet steak.

Sometimes you spend JPY 50,000 and feel let down, and other times you spend JPY 10,000 and leave relieved with change in hand.

It was a great meal.

I visited this restaurant for a business dinner and happened to discover it while searching for a meat-serving establishment.
Despite its title as a "Western-style restaurant," I was pleasantly surprised by the genuinely impressive dishes that exceeded my expectations. The attention to quality ingredients was remarkable—everything from the salad vegetables to the grilled sides was delicious.

I ordered the Kyoto Wagyu tenderloin and sirloin steaks, each weighing 150 grams. The cooking was perfect, surpassing those served in teppan-yaki restaurants. The exterior was crispy, cooked medium-rare, and the texture of the tenderloin was exceptional; I would specifically come back just for that steak. The sirloin had a nicely sweet flavor, and the pork cutlet looked appealing too, so I decided to order the tenderloin cutlet as well, which turned out to be delicious. The thin yet slightly crispy coating reminded me of schnitzel and was to my personal liking.

From the plating to the fine details, this place feels too high-end to simply call it a Western-style restaurant.

It's great that there are comfortable seating options for families and elderly guests. There seemed to be some repeat customers, giving off a vibe that it's a well-kept secret among those in the know.

If you're looking to enjoy meat dishes in Kyoto, I highly recommend this place.

In recent times, as mediocre places are becoming more common even when paying JPY 20,000 per person, finding a restaurant where you can thoroughly enjoy quality food and still get change from JPY 10,000 is rare. The tenderloin steak course starts from JPY 7,000 (with additional charges depending on the amount of meat), but the a la carte options also seemed delicious, so I believe it’s best to order whatever you like without hesitation.
