It’s about a 6-7 minute walk from Kanazawa’s bustling area, Korinbo.
This long-established wagashi shop has been operating since 1911 and is located in the historic samurai district.
Upon taking a peek inside, I found the 'Fukusa Mochi' to look delicious, so I decided to buy some.
It features a chewy gyuhi (rice cake) wrapped in a carefully baked brown sugar-flavored skin, enclosing a smooth homemade red bean paste.
The anko (sweet bean paste) was velvety and truly delightful.
