Food Miyazaki Beef Awarded the Prime Minister's Award
At Yakiniku Shumon, we source our meat from "Anraku Livestock" in Miyazaki Prefecture. In 2022, Miyazaki beef won the highest honor, the Prime Minister's Award, at the "National Wagyu Competition," which is held once every five years and is often referred to as the Olympics of Wagyu, achieving a remarkable four consecutive victories. Among these achievements, Anraku Livestock has also won the Kyushu Grand Champion title four times. By purchasing an entire cow from Anraku Livestock, we are able to offer this high-quality meat at reasonable prices.

Our meats, such as "Kalbi" and "Loin" (with some exceptions), are not stored frozen. They are delivered to our store after being wet-aged in a strictly temperature-controlled refrigerator. Freezing meat causes the moisture to freeze and form crystals, which can damage the meat's cells. When thawed, this results in drip loss, causing the flavorful components to escape. At our store, we cut only the amount needed for the day, allowing us to provide delicious meat without the need for frozen storage.
Food "Visible Hormones from Producers"
Currently, the hormone products we offer at our store (with some exceptions) are sourced from "Anraku Livestock." Wagyu hormones are rare in distribution and are extremely valuable. At our store, we procure hormones through a contract with Anraku Livestock, a fattening farm. Hormones from known producers are safe, secure, and truly delicious. We invite you to try our plump and fatty hormones at least once.
