I've been wanting to visit this restaurant in my neighborhood.
Kuraku-en Sushi Sen
While there are many sushi places with set courses, this one offers an a la carte menu.
We started with a delightful woman and ordered Champagne MOET to share.
When I requested something white fish, I got:
⚪ Thinly sliced Hirame (flounder)
served with refreshing ponzu sauce and grated daikon.
⚪ Grilled Nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch)
Rich and fatty, it was delicious.
⚪ White Grilled Anago (sea eel)
Wrapped in nori, it was a must-have that I want to order again.
⚪ Grilled Anago (sea eel)
⚪ Shime Saba (marinated mackerel) nigiri
The sushi rice was delightfully soft.
⚪ Toro-Taku (tuna and takuwan roll)
This is always my go-to.
Everyone can enjoy their favorites, and the menu options for snacks are plentiful too.
There’s a counter and private rooms in the back.
