I made a reservation around noon on a weekday and managed to find the place after a bit of trouble since it’s located in an area with many popular restaurants.
The interior has a cozy, homey atmosphere with a hint of American style. The menu is extensive, and I found myself debating what to choose. I went with the recommended Clay Pot Hamburg Steak and Kobe Beef Tendon, served with demi-glace sauce. It also comes with a salad and rice. You can choose from demi-glace, tomato, or curry sauce, and the prices are quite reasonable.
After about 10 minutes, my meal was ready. The demi-glace sauce was slightly sweet and well-simmered, making the tendon tender, and the hamburg steak paired perfectly with the sauce. Although it looked small, it was quite filling.
While I was eating, more customers kept coming in, including several solo diners. Given the restaurant's long-standing reputation, it seems many people return.
On a cold day, the simmered hamburg steak would be a great choice as well. It was a lovely restaurant.
I will definitely be back. It was a great meal!
