I've been curious about this place since it's within my company's lunch area. Recently, following last week's Indian meal at Indus, I've found myself in an Indian food craze, so today I tried Mughal Palace for the first time with a colleague. After checking the lunch menu on the sign outside, we entered. Guided by India's enchanting smile, we stepped inside to find it nearly full. On the tables, everyone already had enormous naan.
We ordered the chicken curry and vegetable curry for lunch, each with a different level of spiciness to share between us. The chicken curry, which we made a bit spicier, was the clear winner. The naan was softer than the ones at Indus. While Akbar still reigns supreme, considering the fantastic accessibility and the value of the lunch set priced at JPY 790, I can see myself becoming a regular at Mughal Palace. I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take pictures; everything went straight to my stomach before I could capture it on camera...

On this occasion in May 2012, I enjoyed the red curry and spinach green curry for lunch, along with a small refill of naan! I’ve uploaded some pictures. The beautiful staff with their Indian charm were delightful! Since the interior was quite smoky, I opted to have lunch outside. Even though many people passed by, it felt pretty nice.

In November 2012, I was with a vegetarian friend, so we ordered the vegetable curry. I started to worry whether there was meat broth in it, but I didn’t ask and my friend seemed happy, so all was good. The flavor seemed a bit sweeter than the last time, likely due to seasonal autumn vegetables? The masala spices were well-balanced, and it was delicious. It was a great meal!
