I'm currently working for the Rural fire department, doing admin-type stuff, and will also be organizing and basically coming up with their new fire safety and prevention/awareness program for the elementary schools.

I will *most likely* be doing that via Americorp/VISTA, but as the Admin Assistant left and starts *her* new job next week, her spot is open. I'm filling in right now, but i'm *fingers crossed* that I can interview and maybe do that job, instead. HEALTH BENEFITS. Plus better pay. Either way, I'm there for at least a year, if not more. It's terrifying and exciting. :)

Anyway - I *thought* there was only one more chapter of 'Yesternight', but HA. I was wrong. As always, Darkhavens is the most awesome person ever, and I'd never get anything posted if it was for her awesome skills and encouragement.

Sooooo - way back last year - last *June* - there was a fandom works auction to benefit a dear person here in fandom who needed help. And I offered up fic, and people bid, and people won!

And I didn't get fic out in a timely manner. Because I suck like that. But i have been *working* on them (among other fic), and am finally *done* with the first one! Whoooo!

So this fic is for without_me, who bid on a J2/Wincest fic. And this is what happened with the prompt! I do hope it measures up. :)

Hullo, flisty people! Wow, it's spring. Yay!! We've had rain, and yo-yo weather (70's down to 20's up to 60's, all in one day!) and there's a bird's next built in the decorative lantern i have on the front porch.

Little spring peepers (frogs) chorus half the night, and the birds are going nuts in the trees, singing singing singing. I look forward to the first laying of the wren eggs in our wren house. They have nested and laid two sets every year since we moved here. It's awesome.

Warmer is awesome, since i'm actually motivated to move away from my space heater and do stuff, heh.

Anyway - writing goes. I'll have another bit of Space AU up some time tomorrow, and i've written more of the Avengers thing i posted a bit ago.... Rejuvenation! Let's hope my writing has a spring, too. :)

Anyway - next bit of the Obsession drabbles. I posted it over in the comm a couple days ago. The prompt was 'Bondage', and this isn't, um...traditional bondage, but more the hold Jason has over everyone, by his insane and dangerous actions. The rest, of course, are in tags.

So! I did actually post more of that 'Obsession' Christian Kane/Jason Behr story, but I didn't post it here. So now i'll post both the 'old' bit and the new stuff.

Also - i have been reading so many *amazing* Steve/Bucky post Winter Soldier fics...DAMN. Makes me want to write *so much more* in that 'verse. I'm working on a second bit to my first one, so.... Soon, i hope? And working on Space AU, and yes, *still* on the charity auction fics, though those winners probably hate me by now.....
Sheesh.

My work has been horribly boring and tedious and the hours are stupid and i'm trying to find something else. Too bad i'm not an accountant, because they seem to be needed a lot. But wow, could not do that job.

Hallo!

Well, i am, as my dad would say, 'feeling puny'. So no work for me today (or yesterday), and i thought i'd get my updates all...updated.

I posted another ficlet at slashthedrabble, a continuation of the same story. It's over at the comm for now - I'll be putting it on my lj soon enough. It's nice to see drabbles and ficlets going up over there!

Also the Space AU! Which, you guys. I feel like such a dork, dragging it out so long, but it's not deliberate! It's just...me. I'm glad my faithful readers are still hanging on, though I totally understand if people want to wait until it's complete to read, too.
