The problem with South Koreans in South Korea is this: They want their culture (dramas, movies, music, food, language, writing system, etc.) to be globally embraced and embedded, but as a people they are not ready for it—they’re still acting “only us matters, this is our culture, no foreign voices allowed even diaspora and mixed”.
Here’s the truth: you can’t. If you want the global stage to embrace and embed your culture into theirs, you must listen to their voices. It is no longer about you, you, and you. It’s about everyone. There is a price to pay: it stops being exclusively yours. So choose, the future or the past?
According to the 〈World Economic Forum 2025 Global Gender Gap Report〉, the #Philippines ranks 20th globally and 1st in Asia in gender parity.
#Korea right now:
Government: Let’s make the world embrace #Kculture #Kcontent!
Koreans: Delete #PerfectCrown from existence!
Also Koreans: Only Korean voices matter.
World: You want us to embrace your culture and products but ignore our voices? You just want our money?
To the Korean government & ministry,
You want to the world to embrace #Kculture #Kcontent #Kdrama #Kpop and so on but you are dismissing and ignoring the voices of the global community. That is not acceptable.
The American culture and the US Dollar are global hence everyone has something to say for and against them.
That is the price you pay when you go global. You cannot dismiss and ignore the voices of your global fans.
#PerfectCrown must stay!
