Who’s Breaking and Fixing Things at SysGuides?

Hi, I’m Madhu Desai, the one-person crew behind SysGuides: writer, tester, debugger, and occasional keyboard abuser.
With over 15 years of hands-on Linux experience, I’ve spent more hours than I’ll admit poking around terminals, breaking perfectly good installs, and figuring out how to fix them again. I also hold a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA), so I’ve got both the academic foundation and the battle scars from real-world system wrangling.
I started SysGuides to make Linux feel less intimidating and a lot more enjoyable. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who practically lives in the command line, you’ll find step-by-step guides, deep dives, tweaks, and practical workflows. From system setups and performance tuning to virtualization and rescue procedures, it’s all tested and written in plain English with minimal yak shaving.
Prefer watching instead of reading? I’ve got you covered on YouTube as well. Check out @sysguides for walkthroughs, tips, and video versions of what you’ll find here.
Thanks for stopping by, and welcome to the nerdy side. It’s nice here. 😎
