Just some pics of mine.

// COLLECTIONS //

Picked this up last week, I think, decided to start reading Yet Another Book.

Had heard the author being interviewed on #NPR not to long after it was released, it sounded really good.

So far it's interesting. Not usually the kind of book I'd read, but I'm enjoying it. This was an instant pre-order the second that it was available for such!

I really, really want the larger set, but..... This one is a taaaaad more accessible (i.e. affordable) 😁 Hey look, it's 'Yet Another Common LISP Book' to add to the library! Gonna make some egg nog frozen custard today. Because why not! I've recently gotten back into the 3D printer thing. Sovol had an excellent deal on this little beast recently and I couldn't help myself. It's based on the Voron 0, but a little bit larger. I've got some plans to throw down some ABS items, with a hope to, maybe, grab a Voron 2.4 kit and actually build one of those.

My original printer was a Sovol Zero One, waaaaaaay back when they first came out.

So far I really like this little power house. Our Sheepadoodle does indeed have it ridiculously hard. Why yes, yes I did. We've had our fig tree/bush for a few years now. It's a super hardy little beastie, too, having survived being basically bitten down to the ground level by a doggo. We were shocked when it started growing again, then pleasantly surprised that it was able to start fruiting last year and actually producing edible treats this year!

This is the second decently sized batch this year.

It doesn't produce a lot, and they really need to be eaten quickly, c but they are so, so good. One more kick ass novel (graphic or not) for the pile. I've wanted this one for quite some time, and there is no time like the present. Found it! I still treasure this little beastie. Still completely original, still seems to work. Shockingly still had the teeny tiny power plug connected to it.

I haven't turned this thing on in over 20 years, so you'll have to excuse younger me's music selection. πŸ¦œπŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ Got to head into the KU campus today, so I figured I might as well snap a shot of this beast. It's not the best looking book, but from what I've glanced through it today it's certainly not something that I would judge it on. ;-)

Sure it's dated, but it's Lisp and that doesn't really change. I'm getting quite the library of these classics. What is this!?!

Can't say that I ever thought this would happen again!

More please!

πŸ”₯🀘πŸ”₯ There is nothing like a delicious homemade latte for lunch! β˜• 😁 It's been far too long since I've listened to this. Masterful. Made another container of cold brew the other day. Makes for a tasty iced coffee treat. Finally, release day! New BABYMETAL πŸ”₯πŸ”₯🀘🀘

It's good to be back into actual physical media once again Went into the youngest kiddo's room to hang a clock, glanced over and happened to see this jerk. 🀣 This is something that I never thought I'd be so stoked about.

There are so few really good magazines left and I try to support what I can. I'm glad this one is back. I was gifted an old school ice cream churner for Father's Day (old school meaning now silly freezing of the bowl to have the thing work).

Made some keto vanilla ice cream with it. Creamy deliciousness straight out of the freezer. No waiting for it to soften. Here we have another shot of Strong Hall. These doors are pretty striking, I think. It's an impressive and almost intimidating building. I had to head up to campus earlier. It's nice to be there when it's not quite so crazy busy. I love this building. Just got finished listening to this while thing twice in a row. Not something that I do very often

It's amazing. I told our Sheepadoodle to 'sit' before filling the food dish.

This is what she did.

I can't complain. My wife has been asking me to make these again for some time, so here we go! Chocolatey chip muffins, keto style The surprise ingredient is pumpkin. 😁

One of these days I want to start a keto/gluten free bakery. A new Aesop Rock album? Don't mind if I do! Took this at Kansas City Science City at Union Station.

Thought that the small maze they had created out of these mirrors was pretty cool. Sometimes the YouTube (Music) algorithm finds some of the most off the wall stuff to feed me. This is interesting.

Not too bad so far Well this was certainly unexpected. Received 47 pieces of mail from our insurance company. Evidently somebody got the wrong provider ID for every single visit. Why they couldn't have put these all on one document we'll never know. Sometimes I kind of feel like another version of Jack Baty. Only instead of blogs and blog software my obsession is with trying to go back and forth with other OS installs.

This time it's back to trying (non)guix. Decided that I wanted to finally give #LinuxFromScratch an install. I've wanted to do this for awhile.

Been some time since I've done anything even close to this. I've enjoyed listening to these guys for about five years now, so I figured it was high time to stock up on some physical media.

I've also got the next one on pre-order.

I miss CD jewel cases, but I absolutely get it! It's such a challenge being the family dog! This showed up today! I've already listened to most of the release, thanks to also having the digital copy, but I certainly prefer the physical act of ownership. Yeah, this arrived yesterday. Figured it couldn't let everybody else have all the fun without me. I really liked the contrast of color that this provided. You know, it still amazes me that I can have speeds like this in my pocket. Definitely going to need to set aside some time to watch these! A small LEGO crab. Its left pincer is up, open and ready to go! Its right arm is out to the side, warding off whatever needs warding. Photo of a gray and white sheepadoodle. She's laying on her bed, staring straight at the camera, her mouth slightly open in what looks like a smile.
Her eyes are obscured by her long, scraggly hair. A Valentines Day 'bouquet' comprised of the Peanuts characters Snoopy and Woodstock Make magazine, the 20th Anniversary Issue. Two decades of wacky, wonderful contraptions! Cropped screenshot of a completed pre order for Bloodywood's new CD. A disembodied, red head with pigtails figure (possibly from poppy playtime, but I'm not sure) that has been attached to what I will call four clay tentacles. Though that could be the kiddo's attempt at a thin body.

Still, kinda looks cool. The book: Run Your Own Mail Server, by Michael W Lucas Photo of the book, 'the book of elsewhere' by the authors Keanu Reeves and China MiΓ©ville. Next to the book is my blue coffee canister. Photo of children's artwork taking over a refrigerator Photo of my Kindle Oasis on a kitchen table.
