In this tutorial we will walk through how to split group observations on the app version of Tapestry.
Please note, this is the same for IOS and Android devices.
How to split group observations
Once logged into the app, make sure you are on the Observations page and find the group observation you wish to split.
You will know the observation has multiple children attached as you will see the name of a child plus the number of extra children.
To split the group observation, click the three dots on the top right of the observation. This will bring up a menu of options where you can choose to Split group observation. Tap this to proceed.
If you want to split the observation for every child attached, then you can tap the Split All option. The observation will then split into the X number of observations, one for each child.
If you only want to split it for certain children, then you can tap the box next to the relevant names. Once done, you can tap Split Ticked.
When you are back on the main observation page, you will see the observations split as you have amended them to be. From here you can edit the observation/s as needed.
