Reactivating an inactive/deleted staff member

In this tutorial we will walk through how to reactivate staff members who have been deleted or made inactive.

Please note that if the account was marked as awaiting deletion over 90 days ago, the account will not be retrievable.

Manage Staff

Both of these actions will take place through the Manage Staff page. To navigate to this screen, head to Configuration > Staff > Manage Staff.

Deleted and Inactive Staff

To view all staff who have been deleted or made inactive, head to the Awaiting Deletion/Inactive tab at the top of the Manage Staff page. Both reactivation processes work the same way so in this guide we’ll walk it through using staff who have been deleted. Start by clicking the Awaiting Deletion tab.

To reactivate the staff member individually, click the cog icon next to their name and select Make Active. Then, confirm this by clicking Restore to Active in the pop up box.

To do this for multiple staff members at once, either tick the boxes next to the relevant staff members name or, click the Select All option and this will tick all of the staff users in the list. A pop up box will then appear on the bottom right providing you with options on how to proceed. Again choose the Make active option from this list and then click Go.

You are taken through to a confirmation page which then allows you to check you want to restore the users back to active. You can confirm this by selecting Make Staff Active.

You can follow the same process through the Inactive tab on the Manage Staff page. You will be presented with the same options when either individually reactivating a staff member, or doing this in bulk.
