In this tutorial we will be guiding you through the process of configuring email on Mac Mail. We are using Mac Mail on OS X Version 10.14 \u201cMojave\u201d. If you are using a different version or operating system, these instructions may differ.<\/p>\n

Mac Mail Settings for IMAP<\/h1>\n

Add Account<\/h2>\n

Launch Mac Mail, click on Mail<\/strong> and then select Preferences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Add New Account<\/h2>\n

Click the [Accounts]<\/strong> button at the top.<\/p>\n

Then click on the [+]<\/strong> button in the lower-left corner.<\/p>\n

Select Account Type<\/h2>\n

From the list of providers choose Add Other Mail Account <\/strong>and click Continue.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enter Account Information<\/h2>\n

Enter the following information:<\/p>\n

Full Name: <\/strong>This is the name that will appear on all outgoing mail from this account.
\nEmail Address: <\/strong>The full email address of your account (i.e. yourname@yourdomain.com).
\nPassword: <\/strong>The password of your email account.<\/p>\n

Then click Create.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manually Configure Account<\/h2>\n

The system will prompt you that manual account configuration is required. Click Next.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Account Type: <\/strong>We recommend IMAP if you are using multiple devices. If you prefer you can choose POP instead, or if this is your only device.
\nMail Server: <\/strong>smartermail.scarabmedia.com
\nUser Name: <\/strong>Your full email address (i.e. yourname@yourdomain.com).
\nPassword: <\/strong>Your email account password.<\/p>\n

Enter Server Settings<\/h2>\n
