Clever widget filter problem

I purchased this years ago and just now trying to filter list by category but its not working.
Under content tab i can filter by CMDM category but i enter in my name for the category and then click add nothing happens and i save but blanks out my filter. any ideas? using the Clever enhanced posts widget but just cannot get it to work

    Well that is not a big deal i guess. purchased a renewal license. Looking forward to the fix really need it so thank you

    This should be all fixed in 3.0. Let me know if you run into any more problems with this.

    Looks GREAT and works now! thank you.
    Only other thing i see is if i choose excerpt of “0” it still shows the […] but i dont think it should show anything including the […]

    Id like to remove excerpt any idea when next update is going to be ready? Not a huge deal but would sure like just a simple icon with description and no excerpt.

    Like in attachment example
