Annoying Connections To Canon Characters: Was close friends with Charlie Evans and still retained contact through her cell phone.  When she moved to New York, she became friends with Gabriel Gray and slowly gained feelings for him.  Due to low self-esteem, Gabriel didn't have the courage to ask her out, until he became Sylar.  Sylar was able to control the hunger around her, because there was still a small part of Gabriel in him that knew that, if he killed her, he would never see her again.  She became suspicious of Sylar and discovered him trying to kill Molly Walker.  She held him off long enough for the police to get here and for Molly to escape and immediately dumped him.  Also shared a father/daughter relationship with Chandra Suresh, before his death.  After the break up, she called the police and gave them the name of the serial killer.  Then she drowned her sorrows in alcohol and had to live in the dorms for a brief amount of time.  Met Mohinder when he was posing as her psychiatrist and assisted him in his father's research.  She constantly argues with Mohinder, and the two develop feelings for each other that results in will they or won't they tension, and moves back in with her best friend.  Then she gets a call from Sylar about his fears, and tells her that he found a painting that will make her doubt her relationship with Mohinder.  The character goes to Vegas with her best friend in order to see this painting and gains access to Linderman's office with the help of Nathan Petrelli (Nathan was doing this to repay Mohinder).  In the future, her best friend dies in the explosion, she is forced to marry Sylar and works with Hiro to overthrow him.  After hearing that Sylar plans to commit genocide, she tells Mohinder to go to Isaac's loft.  She secretly meets Mohinder and asks him to inject her with the serum.  At first, Mohinder refuses, then he slowly realizes that he has no choice.  Also witnessed her friend getting molested when she was little and ran out of the house.  It was the moment she truly discovered her abilities, but was discovered by Noah Bennet and the Haitian, so her memory of the event was erased.  It's possible that this may have screwed her up for life.  Also shares a friendship with Matt and a brief acquaintanceship with Niki and shares a type of family bond with Molly.
Annoying Special Abilities: Ability to walk through walls.
Other Annoying Traits: Found out about Sylar killing people and dumped him, but did nothing to stop it.  In the future, she worked with Hiro Nakamura to overthrow him, but did not bother informing him that Nathan was really Sylar.  She completely warped Sylar OOC.

Daniel gave him a withering look. "What is this… bond?" He asked, falling into full archaeologist mode.

She looked slightly uncomfortable with his enquiry. "I do nae understand it meself. All I know is that we share thoughts."

"How did you learn to speak English so fast, and DanielJackson to speak your language," Teal'c asked.

"We must've downloaded more than memories," Daniel said thoughtfully.

"Download?" Rhyanith asked, a little confused with the terminology.

"Uh, it's an analogy for what happened. I started experiencing your memories… At least, I assumed they're yours and not anyone else's." The archaeologist backed away a little, seemingly worried by the idea that she may have passed on the memories of some hapless person she'd 'read' before.

Her expression grew cold as she noticed his action. "I do nae know what ye're implying, but I do nae get any pleasure from treading the thoughts of others!" she rasped, hands clenched in fury. "And for ye're information, those memories were mine and mine alone!"

“No.”

The tone of her voice prompted him to look at her, really look at her. His eyes widened as he looking into her eyes. In the darkness of her pupils he saw tiny sparks of light. And then he realised that he could no longer sense her. No, dear God, no!!

“Yes,” she hissed, lashing out with a vicious back-hand across his face. The force of the blow knocked his glasses off and rocketed him back into the room. With hazy vision he watched her close the door softly and advance on where he was slouched.

“Poor Daniel,” she crooned, caressing his cheek, “always on the receiving end.”

She grasped his throat with a firm grip and slowly pulled him to his feet. He struggled for breath as her fingers hit into his flesh.

“Looks like your karma took a turn for the worse,” she growled and flung him across the room. He slammed into a bookcase, causing a shower of books and artefacts to fall on him as he slowly slid to the floor. Her bare feet made soft noises on the floor as she stalked to where he lay. Crouching, she ran her fingers through his hair, before grabbing a handful and wrenching his head up.

"No! I can't do that to you! Uh uh, not while I'm still breathing!" She backed away from him and pressed her spine against the wall. "Jack, this isn't just a thing you can ditch when it doesn't suit you any more! It's very, very permanent!"

"I know that! Look, why don't you want to bond with me? Do I smell bad or something? Habits that drive you up the walls? What is it?" Jack advanced and grabbed her shoulders before she could run away.

"The way, I never could- Only with 'Lyn…" She avoided his gaze by staring at a point just above his right shoulder.

"What are you talking about? What couldn't you do? What do we have to do?"

She looked him full in the eye and he saw the answer to his question.

"Oh."

Excuses? What can I say? I was young, it was my first go at fanfic but I knew I wasn't nearly skilled enough to write without a point of reference that I knew inside and out. I eventually gave up the whole fanfiction thing once I started RPGing and left the mailing lists where people would actually *encourage* me to write that sort of tripe (or, at least, were too polite to tell me to stop). I'm actually surprised the website is still up there - obviously I still get the odd visitor wandering through because I haven't edited it in a few years now and Angelfire used to expunge any sites not visited for over three months.
