Title: That One Time John....
Author: stupidmuse_hate
Pairing: John/Sherlock
Rating: PG-13 for violence
Wordcount: Er, about 5,000....
Summary: That one time John got kidnapped and Sherlock eventually rescued him. Of course, complete with requisite idiotic villains and police who always get it wrong.

THE TROPES:
Nerves of Steel, Nothing Exciting Ever Happens Here, Not a Date, Not That There's Anything Wrong With That, NICE HAT, Pint-sized Powerhouse, Police Are Useless, Sarcasm Mode, Sticky Fingers, Your Princess Is In Another Castle, Badass Adorkable, Big Brother is Watching, Bound and Gagged, Brutal Honesty, The Chess Master (subverted?), and, of course, Reinventing The Telephone.

MY GOAL/EXPLANATIONS:
Uhm, well, in a nutshell I wanted to use as many tropes following the same thing as I could within 1,000 words....Surprise? I didn't make it! On the other hand, I really did use all of those tropes. I wanted a badass story with BAMF!Sherlock, BAMF!John and stupid villains and well...The tropes worked very nicely with that if I say so myself....Oh yeah, explaining the tropes. Lessee here, the only ones that aren't self-explanatory are uh...NICE HAT references Sherlock's tendency to disguise himself (see security guard in TGG) and the Sticky Fingers one relates to that because obviously Sherlock had to get his disguise somewhere (meaning that he stole it). The Chess Master was supposed to be the master villain in this little episode, but he wasn't all that great, to be honest. He was a poor chess master, let's just put it that way. Yeah, I think that's it! Uhm, and Reinventing the Telephone references Mycroft. Should be easy to figure out, really.

p.s. I've just been informed that my villain is Affably Evil, so there you have it :)
