Assistant Professor Tihana Škojo was born in Osijek on 18th March 1975. After high school education, 1997 she graduated in Music Education at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Osijek. For excellence in studying, she was awarded with two Rector’s Awards (1994 and 1995)., and the Ministry of Science and Technology scholarship for gifted students (1996).
In 2010, she obtained a Postgraduate Masters degree in Musical Pedagogy (academic level – Master, area of Social Sciences, Field of Pedagogy, branch Special Pedagogy) at an inter-faculty study programme between the Academy of Music and Department of Pedagogy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb.
In 2015, she obtained a PhD degree at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, wherein she obtained a doctoral degree in Social Sciences, field of Pedagogy, branch of Didactics.
She has presented at more than 40 national and international scientific conferences. She is a member of the program and organizing committees of scientific and artistic symposia. She is a reviewer of works in the field of music pedagogy.

Suradničko Učenje U Inkluzivnoj Nastavi Umjetničkog Područja

Collaborative learning, as a form of joint student activity that strives, among other things, to ... more Collaborative learning, as a form of joint student activity that strives, among other things, to explore and solve tasks and create and develop creative ideas, is the most comprehensive and effective way to acquire a wide range of competencies. Inclusion in collaborative learning, that is, the active participation of students with disabilities, is a desirable form in which such students acquire knowledge as well as develop social and communication skills, and adopt acceptable behaviours useful in everyday life. Through collaborative learning in inclusive teaching, equal activity by the entire class is encouraged, and with the individualization of tasks within the group, each student achieves the educational outcome through quality and skilled teaching. This paper presents a study conducted with the purpose of determining the opinions of fifthand eighth-grade students on inclusive art teaching. The results of the study show that students perceive collaborative learning as a desirable teaching strategy in which students with disabilities can participate and accomplish tasks with the rest of the class and that more intensive cooperation is achieved through this form of learning, as well as better interaction and communication.

The experiential, emotional reception of a piece of music depends on a number of factors. Conside... more The experiential, emotional reception of a piece of music depends on a number of factors. Considering this complex phenomenon from a subjective aspect, the individual experience of a particular piece of music is influenced by the time and place of listening, as well as by physical and social factors, structural elements of the music, and other qualitative elements. Popular music, due to its distinctive features, which are manifested through a simpler melodic and rhythmic structure, elicits an intense emotional response from the listener even at the first listening. The textual element plays a significant role in this, as it can completely change the affective valence of the piece of music. Based on the musical analysis of nine popular songs from the Homeland War, the most intensive period in Croatian history in social and political terms, the paper discusses all the experiential elements that influenced the emotional reception and the popularity of these songs. U obrazovnom sustavu Republike Hrvatske glazbena je nastava prepoznata i priznata tijekom obrazov... more U obrazovnom sustavu Republike Hrvatske glazbena je nastava prepoznata i priznata tijekom obrazovnog razvojnog puta kao značajan element u kulturnom razvoju učenika kroz formiranje glazbenih kompetencija. Glazbena se nastava na osnovnoškolskoj razini realizira kroz predmet Glazbena kultura i do sada je na sadržajnoj, ali i na didaktičko-metodičkoj osnovi bila utvrđena kao jedna zaokružena cjelina, koja nema poveznice s gimnazijskom glazbenom nastavom, realiziranom kroz predmet Glazbena umjetnost. Zasebno se odvijao i njihov razvoj, usmjeren prema povećanju učinkovitosti. Nastava Glazbene kulture početkom 21. stoljeća započela je postupno s promjenama koje su danas rezultirale otvorenošću s aspekta nastavnog sadržaja i dominantnih aktivnosti. U desetogodišnjoj primjeni otvorenog modela u nastavi je Glazbene kulture u primarnom obrazovanju... more U desetogodišnjoj primjeni otvorenog modela u nastavi je Glazbene kulture u primarnom obrazovanju, osim slušanja glazbe i usvajanja muzikoloških sadržaja, pjevanje utvrđeno kao najčešća izabrana aktivnost. Zanimanje za tu aktivnost u nižim razredima nadovezuje se na sustavno i kvalitetno provođenje pjevanja u predškolskim ustanovama i u aktivnosti zborskog pjevanja. Organizirane su aktivnosti zborskog pjevanja, kao dio neformalnog učenja glazbe, zbog brojnih pozitivnih karakteristika najprisutniji oblik izvannastavnog stjecanja glazbenog znanja i razvoja glazbenih sposobnosti kod djece predškolskog uzrasta i učenika. U aktivnostima zborskog pjevanja glazbenim se i pjevačkim razvojem učenika sustavno djeluje na razvoj njihovih glazbenih preferencija te se utječe na formiranje stavova o estetski vrijednoj glazbi.
