System Requirements
- To get the best experience of the Elegance Menu, we recommend the following If want to use Woocomerce then you need to fulfill the below requirements.
- PHP: 7.4 as it is recommended by WordPress.
- Database: MySQL 5.6 or later
- WordPress: 5.0 or later
- Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari (recommended), IE 12+ (latest version)
Installations
- To install the Free version Navigate to WordPress admin end Menu Plugins => Add New now in the plugin search box type “Elegance Menu” Find the “Elegance Menu by Impacttechlab” like the below image. Click on the “Install Now” button to install the free version of the plugin.
- After the installation and activation of the version, you will get the plugin on your website like in the window below.
Plugin General Settings
- Here you can set global currency which will be displayed as a prefix of price in menu listings.
- Also, you can set a placeholder image from the setting, it will be used when your item does not have an actual image.
Add/Edit Items
To add/ Edit Food items navigate WordPress admin menu Elegance Menu => Add items then fill in the data one by one
- Title: Enter the Menu item name
- Description: Add the menu item detail description here
- Data: It has multiple settings like Feature Image, Price, Icon, Sale Price, Extra Note, etc.
- Item Price – Regular menu item price.
- Sale Price – Menu item sale price which will be less than the regular price.
- Note – You can add special notes if you have any.
- Status – You can set the status to activate or deactivate, only the activated item will be displayed at the front end.
- Item Icon – Here you can add an item icon which will be displayed on some layouts
Add/Edit Shortcodes
The first step of the shortcode generator is Layout selection Navigate the WordPress admin menu.
- Layout: To create shortcodes, the initial step is selecting a layout. You have the freedom to pick from various layout choices.
- Category: You can select multiple/single categories based on the chosen layout.
- Name: The title of the section.
- Tagline: The tagline of the section which will be displayed above the title.
How to use shortcode?
You can use the shortcode directly in the page/ post or if you want to use it in a template file use the PHP shortcode or you can also use the shortcode in the Gutenberg shortcode editor.
