I’ve not yet added the mandatory two types of static grass but pretty pleased. He now needs an army to command and an opponent that doesn’t mind that he is a death machine! I know. I hadn’t realised I’d missed it but I completely had. I was playing with a sub optimal Ork list with… Continue reading The Old World Playing and Painting

End of July
Quietish week on the hobby, though made a purchase! I bought the ACW Warlord starter set, the epic like 10mm one, lots of soldiers hoping it’ll keep me busy for a while! So as I say bit of painting and dreaming of big battles!
July Hobby
Ok so I haven’t been great at the hobby, let’s have a look at what I’ve been up to! I think I worried too much about them and brought all the war. Sorry Pat. Thinking of retiring the Watch, I think they are a little OP.
June Midpoint
Still not settled on a painting plan. Thinking I would give the new 40,000 a go. I have about nine armies so seems silly not to. And with the intention to play comes that itch to paint something. Four Weeks on the Island
So moving house is never easy but we have made it, largely intact. Just so you know if there is any other choice use that over BT for Broadband, four weeks in and switching one BT line to another evades them!
Emperor’s Children Librarian
So I have no Emperor’s Children models, not a one. But I did want to paint one, as usual I didn’t finish this, it might be a whole magic paintbrush vibe going on or it might just be that I get bored easily and the last bits of models bore me! I will finish this… Continue reading Emperor’s Children Librarian
Orky Warboss WIP
More shatter shot painting, apologies! It is a really nice model, I have a load of different Warbosses but one more can’t hurt!
