At this time of the year Nativity plays are often the highlight of the children's school year. Forgiving the odd space man,robot or dog being included,to ensure everyone has a happy part.But do these accurately document the birth of Jesus, and the events surrounding it, as was recorded in God's written word The Bible?

I think it can be agreed that many would much rather watch a video than perhaps read such a book?

That being the case Jehovah's Witnesses have produced a series of videos based on biblical events,as appetizes if you like? The homepage of www.jw.org our official website is currently carrying a couple of samples. They being '' The Origin of Christmas.'' and '' The True Light of the World.'' ( Please enter this in the search box if this is no longer the case because it has changed. ) It definitely is not aimed purely at children,but adults alike would benefit greatly from  such an understanding of the importance of Jesus birth,ministry and the role he now holds 2,000 plus years later.

Being quite active on this project with all its aspects of production certainly made the time fly by without idol thoughts at all, what with a racing mind like mine other projects began to form and line up in my fancy as if already drawn out upon blueprint paper. So as i typed away upon such a white page most certainly i had begun to write most of the planed out extra work to come. Which skipped along with mapping out pen, followed closely thereafter by a super sharp shiny craft knife and soon all that needed doing was well done and dusted.

The clock above my head had by that time ticked its way to 24 minutes to four in the pm, and it saw me posing in front of my Mrs B's camera, as she busied herself trying hard to do what i had requested her kindly to do.

 i had just finished sticking the very last few parts upon a pile of twelve library book style arch-ways, and so it was easy to smile with  pleasure upon this occasion and that successful achievement. 

Now came the painting a something that kept me much more busy'er than usual, as i splish splashed my way through a few tubes of acrylic paint. But at least no flying bits of paper will find its way upon polished worktop, table, or stone floor 

Now even though i satisfied myself with such things as magical shelving units, of course there are most certainly flaws for not all is set square into place, but golly gosh! For me unsightly things do eventually become character to each old and charmed upstanding piece.

So upon this Friday that rings out 76 years especially for me, will well reflect how far along my roadway in life i have with great intent plodded.  The wonderful news now is these archways will hold a good 5,000 books that i will personally trundle into loose freestanding place.    .                                                                                                                                        

Upon a Masters wish, Alice of Old Victorian Times, finds herself upon a chess set but little realised it to be one of a legal case, " Of who stole those jam tarts?"  Which was within this picture of course The Nave of Clubs!Who stole away those rather tasty jam tarts.

And upon whiping the jam off his face and lips,''Off with his Head,'' The Queen of Hearts! Demanded,

Now upon a whim,i must make mention that the Tarts within this picture are set out before the King of Hearts and therefore not at all eaten up down to their crumbs. And indeed the oddest thing is the Spades are missing from the picture. So all the things seen worth counting here are all odd numbers too. And as i understand it in a strange topsy turvy way the author is still playing his game of oddity even now because the currect term of use within written English in this case... it being a too is made up of odd numbers too. They being t,o,o!

Arts & Crafts are a delight for anyone involved in them. 

And as far as i am concerned it need not cost the Earth

For it rules out the need of that high-street of inflated values.

Paul Howes...i believe they along with the canoe are all Cresent Toy Figures

 Plastic Toy figures plus birch bark canoe from the 1950's. i being the fellow of heart for such delightful things, i added the quiver of arrows upon both braves. Dress Makers pins, made ideal loose arrows and paper the quivers! As for the bow's, they became what they are now, from tiny strips of plastic strung by thin fuse wire! The canoe was covered over with a plastic bag and sunk into a neat deep bed of white resin glue that ran over a prepared base of real stone pebbles. So for uplifting water effect after the plastic bag was removed from the loose canoe, it could therefore be placed and removed from the river bed easily. Being quite old like myself i feel it almost the entire picture i had, had of it deep within my own imagination! 

Cheerfully i realise they along with it, it is the only one.

Step one just for fun                                                                                                           

The Crows were always welcome to sit and take time out pecking!                                  

           Snow had fallen upon the cornfield near Fiddle Wood in Old Catton Norwich.

Rolled up Paper formed a stump of wood to each and every one of them so they could manage to stand upright, or indeed of their great age even leaning against the windy forced rain or any driven sleet or even thick snow that would head their totally unconcerned way. 
 

Stuffed well with yellow straw they took their stand upon the field. They were infact once tiny silver charms! And it was i who splodged thick paint upon them, and also realised painting comes in many forms but my yard brush only came in one size.

My photographs on Benno's Figure Forum

 Sorry to mention that five years of my own arts and craft tutorial work is not available to view now on Benno's Figure Forum.  i fear it is now a something i can ill repair so lots of my followers on Benno's  will not be able to follow along while i do lots of my rather odd unorthodox artistic display. 

The main reason Imgur not fully protected peoples photographs which include data placed by children.  So that being the case The British Licence was not renewed with that company.  

This is such a universal blow which involves millions of photographs and movies.  However there is for myself a silver lining, it being the magical case i posted upon You Tube, a lot of my musical tutorial work.

Was This Old Man Really Billy The Kid ? Presented by BB

 

                                                                          Bushy Bill

1886 or thereabouts! Bill is wearing a Topper,while playing cards with other members of the Regulators. These were a gang of outlaws that took their own self styled unwritten law and justice into their own hands durring the Lincoin County CattlemansWar of 1878.

This outlaw William Bonney, was doved Billy The Kid,and was shot dead by Sheriff Pat Garrett. But did he really survive such a shooting,and therefore cheat death for a short while longer than the mere history of the Wild West Legend dictates?

Billy the Kid pictures often displayed together to report that these pictures are one in the same person and that Billy actually suvived to live out himself to old age. Whatever the case might be really i would take a guess that we will never really know the whole truth pertaining to this Robin hood movie legend time has built up around him. Now i remember in such movies that Billy was left handed,but the picture comparison shown above i guess is a right handed fellow upon the left,and so i am thinking did those that printed out the left handed ones have the plates reversed or as some might say in my neck of the woods," Back to Front?" Because the first picture upon display is that of a right handed guy in  very old age, alongside a much younger Billy, being shown as a very well armed left handed gunman.                                           

 

And so it was that i alone decided to reverse that first picture showing the old man wearing a gun upon his left sided hip. But looking at the metal buckle i see the gun belt oddly threaded the wrong way round than i being right handed would wear it. So i will therefore put it forwards to you the reader to decide upon the matter of such a possible mistake! For in reality we are upon an aged eyed dusty roadway leading to some-where . But being BB,i certainly find such a mystery to my liking!                                                                                                                                               

For a more thoughtful measure upon the wind of change " Bushy Bill" Roberts of Texes - claimed prior to his death in 1950 that he was indeed Billy the Kid. Such a story presuposed that Garrett killed the wrong man and lied about it. Now books have been written of these old men of the wild west and in my case i do not take bitter sides of upset arguments because such things cannot be proved and i realise even in the courts of law it simple cannot be proved one way or another,but this has been realised ...these old guys of fame are most certainly all dead.

Dead Mans Hand presented by BB

 Grabbing my camera i took the shots, 

So Box Art pictures are also on display below.

The rip roaring  Wild West, has always been of a keen interest to me although i don't play the table top games of today myself. However great figures are worthy showing off to others, while having fun! 

And so it was i bought both box sets just because i wanted them. 

  10 figures in each box is therefore my little start of collecting them.

Two platform sprues in this box for all the horses to gallop up a dust storm upon without having the actual need to move.

Sure enough one and all

Need sticking together.

Which is easily darn good fun.

But there are a few options that can be chosen from each sprue to be fixed upon them.

Gun and rifle arm's are thus displayed here. 

With failing eyesight i could never hope to paint mine in such a grand way, 

But i might try later.

Along with a few scratch simple sample buildings.

The white line seen in the picture above that goes across the face and leg is off putting to say the least...

As an old style guy who likes to collect sealed boxes as well as the figure pieces intact within  them.

 i hate the fact that sticky tape had been stuck onto the box art.

i have always been a keen scratch builder from my early playful youth up until now,

So i will look into it again hopefully along the dusty trail ahead.

Here is the very thin glue i used, 

Which is the best upon the market place in my way of thoughtful  thinking.

As for the glass glue bottle it has a very fine brush fixed into helpful place

 upon the underside of it's twisting on and off plastic top!

A View From My Little Slit Window

As was per usual i was sat typing away upon the P C, key board. 

For within my life story's do not get done and dusted!                

                              

                               Unless i set to, upon the thinking and eventful inking out of them.                   

                               So there i was upon my way of clicking out a rather unusual scene,                         

                                                                                  

 When high up in one of the large Fiddle Wood tree's,                 

               

My eye caught sight of such a sudden  movement!                    

               

                                And what then took place before my camera was such a grand delightful sight!          

                    However such a flashing tail movement meant that it was very angry indeed. 

                         Oddly i thought!           

It seemed as if it knew i was filming it.                                                           

            Although i was certainly not the cause of such  an activity as was upon open display!

    What an active beautiful creature!

 

   That Grey Squirrel, is...

   sure a Tree Rodent with a good Credibility!

  Far below it the cool charcoal filtered water of our large fish pond awaits its welcome visit.

  For it and other creature benefit greatly from it.

  Especially all the bird life that fly in upon the wing.

Developing my Elaborate Library Floor presented by BB

After well over five years of making tiny book style things along with 

large double sided book cases with looming walk through archways

my absolute attention lay upon forming printed out Victorian floors.

i was asked Why?

i simply answered, 

"for photo and film projects in conjunction with my own style of story telling." 

The full Victorian floor tile above was duly formed long ago...

From  adding together four Quarters of each floor tile.

And so it was that i began to spin out just one full Quarter plan

for the presentation floor of this very large Library floor, 

Of course within the Library that does not exist there 

                         happens to be many a story that lines vast avenues of books,                        

                                     that being settled down in such abstract files are in plain sight.                                

                           So this magical place appears to be needing several more realitive things!                        

There are twirling round about staircases of differing directions that stand upon nothing! 

                                   So in theory of my own style of abstract thinking... 

                                   this well needed floor plan lay's above deep set into 84 parts! 

                                   Now it will make up one Quarter section of my own floor plan!

                                    

                                      Until another  part, 

                                     here is one i will make in the future 

                                     or possibly in the  past,

                                    for such things are realitive within my own style of story tellings.

The Broken Floor Tile presented by Paul Howes

It has long been the case that i lived in a life style of puzzles which did not stand me in a good light when at school, however i determined at a certain age of learning never to let school interfere with my own education or indeed the way my life or direction of it would be setting sail upon.  As always in hind sight it is much easier to write of it now in my 76th year of ongoing Topsy Turvy Life.                                                                               

                                                                              

THE BROKEN FLOOR TILE, does exist in picture form  which cannot be denied, 

however odd it might turn out to be my story is rather a Tall Tale ,

                       written by myself Paul Howes.   So Copyright does certainly apply!          

               

Here i am upon my way to add flooring to my invisible library a place of higher esteem for Sir Percy,

         and Miss Estelle  as both will reach out from it to the very stars!                                                                   

Step one of this endeavour, was to replace that broken floor tile. A something i believe Mr Fred Grip Into Place failed to do after a State Visit of 1837 by  her Majesty Queen Victoria, and upon noticing the broken tile," What a mess!" She had declared!" This will never do."  Which soon after her leaving was duly assigned to forgetful history soon thereafter, and eventually even by the old Queen her self, who passed away in 1901 deep sunk within her own black style of end of life! For she had lost her Prince Albert, many years before and had worn black every day since her heart was so cruelly broken. And so it had been black was the norm most high society ladies wore to be in the favour of Victoria, and her usual much better dress sense.                                                      

However with the passing of such an ordered age of high minded extremes,                                              full colour had returned to such a busy bustle within the VOUGE, of Modern Times.                                

Charlie Chaplin, would come to see it most certainly in a new light!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

                                                            

That repair was never done and dusted because Mr Fred Grip Into Place, only knew how to fail at laying anything into place. So it was inconvenient for him and his local Council lifestyle of break and not repair. So way back in 1837 a very large heavy bookcase was duly pushed and then shuffled over such a damaged spot, covering it from peoples view until this very Year of 2025.
                                                               

In order to repair such a corner stone effect i removed the top section which is on view above.

Soon after i removed that which is upon view above. By pushing the two together on my PC, the repair will be made to that corner stone. Then after recopying this will therefore form a pleasing pattern to make it possible to form a brand new floor covering for Sir Percy's Library. Of course this productive action is well befitting the Old Queens directed order.

i will also restore the full colours from 1861 when these floor tiles were long ago made. 

There are many floors within this place full of my own imagination.

So i formulated the Plates myself, which means by cutting and placing pieces i can size any floor area deep set within Sir Percy's Library. A place for little figures to find fresh new adventures each time they enter it.

   Of course it can be quite a dark place lost within Time & Space! But you have to look upon the bright side knowing full well that you and i are not there.
