What You Need to Know About Me

💬🗣️⚖️🛡️🧭

A Bit About Me
I'm a late-diagnosed level 1 autistic person living authentically.

I communicate directly, as I struggle in social contexts due to communication differences.

I'm a positive, empathetic, and open-minded person with a strong sense of justice. I reject social hierarchy and social status. I oppose injustice, manipulation, and imposed control. I lean toward moral libertarianism. I value personal freedom, individual responsibility, and deliberate choice above all else. My core values define who I am. I follow an inner moral compass that guides my decisions.

Respect is fundamental to me. I'm very friendly, but I have strong principles, especially when it comes to respect. Achievements alone aren't enough to earn respect without character. They add to it when character is good. What matters most to me is character. If there's disrespect, I stay away. If there's mutual respect, I treat others the same way.

I value clear boundaries. I avoid environments and people that can be harmful for autistics like me, especially those who consistently display narcissistic and manipulative traits, as well as other dark traits, both online and in real life. I observe behaviour patterns rather than rushing to label or judge people. I don't relate to people who become friends too quickly. I get along with everyone as long as my boundaries are respected.

I have a childlike sense of humour. Sometimes I share funny or meaningful ideas that suddenly appear in my mind.

I enjoy thoughtful conversations, especially about topics I'm passionate about. I don't reply in real time. I reply when I can. You can reply in your own time. It's fine if you can't reply.

I add new people from time to time. If we're not close, I won't take offence if you don't accept my friend request or unfriend me later. Feel free to add or remove me whenever you want. You're always welcome to add me.

Autism Explained
Autism isn't a disorder that needs to be cured. It's a natural variation in how the human brain develops and functions. Autistics process information, emotions, communication, and sensory input differently from neurotypicals. This shapes how autistics perceive and interact with the world. Autism isn't caused by external factors, although their influence may vary by person. It has a strong genetic basis, involving polygenic variants, de novo mutations, or both. It's lifelong and a part of a person's identity. Autism isn't a straight line. It's multidimensional. Simple levels can be misleading. Sensory processing, communication, executive functioning, emotional regulation, motor skills, masking, and burnout are all separate dimensions, each with different intensities in the same person, even day to day. Masking is hiding autistic traits to fit neurotypical norms. It often leads to exhaustion, burnout, anxiety, and depression. Autistics should be able to communicate, think, and behave in ways that are natural for them. They may require support in certain areas of life. Support should focus on helping them live authentically and comfortably. This can be achieved through understanding, accept, support, and adapted environments.

My Personal Tastes in Music, Films, Shows, Books, and Games
🎧🎬🎥📚🖥️

Why I Prefer Niches Over Mainstream
I don't really enjoy mainstream. Growing up, unlike most people, I've always preferred hidden gems over modern trends. I especially liked underrated titles from the 1980s to 2000s. Those eras had a kind of lasting originality I rarely see in today's world. Nowadays, most things feel rushed. When something becomes popular, it often loses what made it uniquely special. Most works are made to please the masses rather than to create something with depth and meaning. I'm more into niches.

In My Opinion, Thief is the Best Game Series Ever Created
🌒🏰👁️🗝️🕯️

My Thoughts on the Thief Series
If I had to choose only one game series, it would be Thief, the pinnacle of the stealth genre.

There's something really satisfying about slipping through shadows, listening for approaching footsteps, stealing priceless treasures, and vanishing without any trace. Every careful step makes you explore while staying alert to everything around you.

Thief was the first stealth game built around light, sound, and the player. Stealth here isn't just about being unseen, it's about seeing. It teaches you patience and observation over aggression. It makes you feel like a vulnerable yet clever human rather than a superhero. That's why, unlike other stealth games, Thief is considered pure stealth.

The City blends gothic architecture with steampunk elements, filled with noble manors, abandoned cathedrals, and haunted crypts. Divided by magic, religion, nature, and technology, it's rich in literary and mystical depth. Factions like the Keepers, the Hammerites, the Pagans, and the Mechanists struggle for control. All of these show parallels to aspects of our own world. Here, patience is your most powerful weapon, and shadows are your closest allies.

The protagonist, Garrett. He's not a hero, and he's not trying to save the world, loyal only to himself. He's intelligent, cynical, snarky, and darkly humorous. As for the music, they're unmatched and perfectly match the atmosphere.

With its innovative mechanics, rich world-building, and twist-filled storytelling, Thief is unlike anything else. Thanks to voice actor Stephen Russell, composer Eric Brosius, and everyone at Looking Glass Studios for creating this masterpiece.

The music, they're unmatched and perfectly match the atmosphere. As for the protagonist, Garrett. He's not a hero, and he's not trying to save the world, loyal only to himself. He's intelligent, cynical, snarky, and darkly humorous.

To me, Thief isn't just the best game series ever made. It's a timeless work. It gives me a feeling I can't really explain. Nothing else has made me feel this way. It haunts you forever, even long after you stop playing.

If you're interested in the Thief series.

A Call
If you consider yourself a real Thief fan, avoid the 2014 / 2025 reboots. They've nothing to do with the original Thief games. They feel like cash-grabs that exploit the IP and disrespect its legacy.
