"The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures" is a decently paced RPG that works on a scene by scene / chapter by chapter basis without the need for any leveling up or grinding. ...and all you need to play it are a Gamecube, a copy of the game, 2 GC / GBA link cables, and 2 Gameboy Advances - oh, and batteries for the GBAs.
