The Survivalists

The Survivalists is a different take on the survival genre. In the Survivalist you don't need to do all the work yourself, instead the core mechanic of the game is the capturing and training of monkeys who can help you with combat, crafting and building. You take them along during exploration and teach them how to handle various tasks.

The game itself is not that different from most games, except for the monkey mechanic. You explore various islands, build a base, craft stronger gear and eventually escape the game. You will need the game wiki to help you through the game though.

The Survivalist is more fun to play co-op then it is by yourself. The base price of 25 euro's is way to steep, but if you can pick this up for a good price it's definitely word a shot!
