So far a lot of good things happened, most of the tables were restored and most up to the moment of the crash.

The tables for achievements per user were very damaged, so those will have to be regained from the steam API with a later restore phase of that table data. This caused the point values of a lot of games to lower and overall ranks of people to gain. It is expected that the point values will increase over time.

Site performance is up a lot thanks to the new hardware and a lot of new code written.

The crawler should be more stable and an auto-restart function is being overhauled.

Meta-achievements have been worked on and updated and new ones added, more code for that next week. And many icons for the meta collections have been added.

Besides this a lot of extra code has been written and bug fixes made, not all of it visible on the outside. Such as small things like a Silver VIP schema update button or the ability to see an overview of all trivial-capped-games.

If I think of more I'll add it to another update post in the future.

Just a quick update that the site is running again, though with limited functions.

The coming days more should be possible.

Once again sorry for the inconvenience and hard work on it is in progress.

The site has been offline since the start of May due to a major issue with part of the database becoming corrupt due to the storage it was on degrading. Mytharox is working hard to get the site back online and we'll post another announcement when it's back online. So far here is the timeline of the events and update posts made from Mytharox.

May 1st - The site went offline
The site admin Mytharox provided an update that he was working on it though that it was rather difficult to fix.

May 2nd - The issue was identified
Myth found the problem to have been caused due to part of the storage that the databases were stored in being corrupted. In turn a new one was ordered to replace it.

May 4th - New SSD arrived
An update post in the AStats Discord[discord.gg] by Myth confirmed that the new ordered SSD had arrived[discord.com]

May 7th - Still working on it

I'm happy to announce that we've just released a new fix under the approved game fixes initiative we started last year for a long standing broken achievement from the game Counter-Strike Source, Gift Grab!

The fix is a server plugin which replicates the Gift Grab 2011 event that Valve had for the game in the old version of the game. This is accomplished by adding back in gift drops and also for counting them towards the Gift Grab achievement. The plugin is also fully open source available on GitHub and AlliedModders.
