So I just had to roll back about 10 turns because the last 9 save files were corrupt. There's no warning about this happening. The game just starts a corrupt save file and every save after that is also corrupt. If someone plays a long session when this happens, that could mean several hours of wasted time, as the game will crash during loading of any save file from that session. This is ridiculous. Was wondering if anyone had any useful tips on how to build decent mid to late game armies for the Empire? I keep running into the issue of Hellstorms not being effective once the enemies close the gap or if there's trees on the map they're pretty much dead weight. Cannons seem bugged, can't fire over my lines, and sometimes don't fire at all. Demi-gryphs w/ or without halberds tend to lose to other cav/monster units and the Empire doesn't seem to have great flanking units so I keep getting blitzed or have...

No one should ever waste time on this game, it's definitively NOT what you are looking for. This game QUICKLY ends up being a boring circle of AI related nonsense. AI team up regardless or standings. while they wont official hold "alliances" they will NEVER attack an AI that is aggressing the player. This means in every game it's you V the entire map.
