Noreya is quite close to a "Roguelike" at this point so indeed you have to make many runs.
If you re really good at playing MV and use alt+f4 to close the game before you die, you could try this:
- new game in hard, do not pray at any statue, do not heal with money, do not purchase any skill, do not die
But TBH this is insanely hard even if you know the game perfectly well.
I think the best if you want to master all achievements is to
- go for a run in easy, that way you can just cheese and forcebrute all bosses and monsters once you have purchased a lot of skills / collected power-ups. You use this save to do all the monster/power-up/stele/exploration success.
- Once you finished that run in easy and you know the game, go for a new run in easy and you could try to finish the game without purchasing any skill at all.
If you dare you can also try to not pray at any statue at the same time, this would give you 2 success at once and is doable (it is not the true ending and does not require to play in hard).
Since you are in easy you could also try not to heal at all, and find hearts in pots, collect power-up to have more life.
- Then once you are good with that one, you make a new save in hard-mode (so you know the game) and try one "without healing with money OR dying" IMO it's the most difficult. You can collect statues and skills if you did the previous achievements, so my best bet would be "farm in a safe place close to a statue and get more skills points". Once you are "full of it" then you can go for that final boss.
I would not intent the true ending directly because it's a long path with a lot of difficult challenges that could kills you, so just go for the bare minimum (safe) playing the skilltree of light mostly to be tanky.
Then once that final boss is defeated, go for the true ending (and you can die now lol).
So yeah, I'd say minimum 3 runs. But the longest one is the first because you must find everything hidden everywhere.
PS: while I kept my answer without spoiler, if you know the game it's quite spoiling you the strategy to adopt, however if you never played it don't worry ^^
It was not an easy answer x)
Read quite a bit of good stuff about your game on Reddit, keep up the great work!
No problem you are welcome!
I think the run 2 is the fastest and should only take like 2-3 hours if you are quite good.
Just so you know the speedrun record is currently sub 30min !
