WTF so I just joined a gym. I've never been an exercise person, but CQ took me to her gym yesterday and I found some equipment that didn't affect my balance issues. I went back today and enjoyed it ffs.

First time taking the Metro Silver Line into DC. Getting on at Ashburn is so much better than driving all the way to Vienna. Very clean.

So if I use the content variable, then I get line breaks, but I cannot use things like an apostrophe because it looks like this ' when it posts to Mastodon. If I use content:plain then it all just blends together into one line.

Frustrating day w/ what appears to be Cloudflare blocking my IPs' access to the Techhub Mastodon server. All attempts to release and renew my IP have failed, since Xfinity killed off internal browser admin access to the modem, and Eero doesn't have a way to it either. I'm running I thru a VPN right now, but it's really not sustainable long term. Technology really starts to suck when they remove things in the name of simplicity.

Chemo got scrubbed today. Platelets too low (84). Minimum is 150. Got a meeting on Friday with my Doctor to go over my CT Scan results. I think my body just needs 4 weeks now between sessions.

I never realized how much spam I was getting using iCloud email as my primary, until I disabled it last week. I ended up sending an email from my work account to make sure my new email address was still working. Silence is bliss (and a slight bit unnerving).

Drove into the office today for the first time since my return to work in June. All my teammates and friends greeted me with friendly smiles, and big hugs. These people help keep me going and give me hope. I will never be able to thank them enough for their compassion and love.

work friend I've known for 11 years passed away yesterday after a 5 year battle with cancer. He was an exceptional human, and I will miss him dearly. Fuck cancer.

Father-in-law turned 91 yesterday. We hosted the celebration, and all he wanted was steak, corn-on-the-cob, and the Washington Commanders to win. He got all three. It was a good day.

Back at Chemo after a 5 week break. My platelet count is back to normal, and my liver enzymes are FINALLY back in the normal range. Huzzah!!
