My wife took me out for dinner to a local crepe place. We started with empanadas . Then I had a savory crepe filled with chicken, a cranberry and mango compote, caramelized onions, and a magno creme sauce. It weighed about a pound. I ate the whole thing. Then they brought me a Nutella crepe on the house because it's my birthday. I'm currently on the couch too stuffed to move.

I regret nothing.

Spent the morning doing 2026 personal cash flow projections based on my new $2155 health insurance premium. The good news, we won't starve or become unhoused, but we certainly won't be living our best life.

Spent 7 hours with a professional bird guide today and got 17 lifers. #birds #birding

The camper is rocking tonight...because we are camping 100 yards from the Atlantic Ocean and winds are 30 mph gusting into the 40s.

Drinking beer and watching baseball. I deserve it after this week.

The 730 AM to 630 PM work days need to stop

Taking Friday off doesn't play as well when I work 50 hours Mon-Thur to enable the Friday in the mountains.

Kid cashier at Food Lion this morning held up my red pears and asked if they were apples. He was also very confused by potatos. In other news, Food Lion needs to train these kids before throwing them on the registers.

My night. Rummy and cribbage with my wife while drinking NA beers and listening to 80s tunes.
