Absolut Sensing
Global warming is a major challenge, which we must address over the next few years. This is why countries, under the Global Methane Pledge, have collectively agreed to reduce their CH4 emissions by 30% by 2030. However, to date, existing data is either too expensive or not accurate enough to allow for efficient measurement and regulation of CH4 emissions. Absolut Sensing is building GESat, a satellite constellation, to address this challenge. Our innovations both on the hard and the soft allow us to address the main issues. Our constellation will reach a higher limit (>50 kg/hour/CH4), ensure a daily or weekly review rate, and low error rate when measuring emissions – all of which will be done at a reasonable cost. With GESat, Absolut Sensing will provide regulators and companies with the necessary tools to limit their methane footprint.
