Every detail no matter how small is key to creating the exact impression you want, so I won’t hesitate to be curious. Secure confidentiality is promised in what I do, as nothing spoils revealing an exciting project like slipped news if you’re planning some big reveal you want to keep hush-hush.
Equally, as constant communication is a cornerstone to visibility, I’ll make sure to ask if it is okay to show work in progress on the studio’s social media feeds. Don’t worry – only you will get the full resolution and watermark-free version.

Character art forms the bulk of my work. I have designed heroes, villains, lovers, partners and interesting visitors alike with a wide variety of backgrounds, tastes, intentions and places to call home. Every character I design, I promise, will be what you imagined for them if not better.

What can really sell a character or a moment is to give it a sense of place! I offer a variety of styles, from simple doorways and hallways to wondrous vistas extending past the horizon!
A standard commission comes with a simple gradient background with brightness toned draw eyes toward the primary subject (or subjects). For a little extra I can offer a stunning background for the character to stand in for an extra cost based on the complexity of the requested scene.

A standard character commission can have a single item for a character (a sword, a staff, a baton etc.) as a piece of personal equipment. More than one handheld item per character includes an added cost that can be held or attached.
Apparel such as handbags, pouches or, jewellery do not count as “extra items.” Provisions for these items (holsters, sheaths etc) also count as part of the extra item.

Each extra character in a single piece will cost an additional 85% the base price of a single character commission.
Character prices are per extra character. For example a project featuring a pair from the waist up in a gradient shade style would value at £277.50 (150+127.50). A trio in the same style would value at £405 (150+127.50+127.50).
I don’t stop at portraits and landscapes though. As characters are the core of the service I provide. I’ve had plenty who come with only an idea, or a few pieces based on artist interpretation. To this end, I offer character services for a design sheets, displaying detailed views of a character.
My most basic character sheet designs are flat-colour displays which include:
– One front view
– One back view
– One headshot
– Primary details
– An accompanying height scale
I’m always chatting with commissioners about the characters and places they desire art for. I can include these details which get discussed that can be sprinkled around the design sheet at no extra cost! It’s an essential detail as design sheets are likely include more thorough ifnormation as details such as age, backstory, and an emphasis on detail are important for these projects.
The base cost of a reference sheet is £280
