Adds the ability to duplicate an event created by Modern Tribe’s The Event Calendar plugin. This plugin utilizes the TEC functions to ensure that the new event gets passed through all proper filters

Instalim

The easiest way to install this plugin is to go to Add New in the Plugins section of your blog admin and search for “Duplicate TEC Events” On the far right side of the search results, click “Install.”

If the automatic process above fails, follow these simple steps to do a manual install:

  1. Extract the contents of the zip file into your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Aktivizojeni shtojcën përmes menusë ‘Shtojca’ te WordPress
  3. Visit the Events page and start duplicating!

It worked great. But now it’s throwing this error: Deprecated: /home/teamtelli/www/events/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/deprecated/TribeEventsAPI.php is deprecated since version 3.10! Use Tribe__Events__API instead. in /home/teamtelli/www/events/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5049 Any chance for an update and fix?

Simple to use

I’m aware this hasn’t been updated in years, but all I’m doing is duplicating a simple event: a blood drive at church that happens every two months. The plugin seems to be stable and error-free. All it does is give you an extra button under each item on the Events list; click it and it makes a copy and saves it as a draft. Go into the new draft and change the date, click Publish, and you’re done. If you’re doing nothing new and fancy, you should be fine. I can imagine EventBrite tickets, etc. might have updated code, and for that kind of stuff it will probably break. For those of us running a simple organization’s blog with no bells and whistles, probably not.

Handles everything but the ticket

The plugin works quite well — about the same as the more general Post Duplicator plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/) Unfortunately, as with the Post Duplicator plugin this plugin doesn’t duplicate Ticket info. I know the events manager has a separate extension for ticketing, but it would be EXTREMELY nice if this TEC-specific plugin would include ticketing info when duplicating events! (I mention this because my client has weekly events that are almost identical — perfect for duplication. Unfortunately, at least for me, instead of just updating the title and dates one has to manually re-enter tickets info each time.)
