This is the third coffee we’ve featured from Kilimbi CWS, and it is always one of the most exciting coffees of the year. In the cup, you’ll find notes of cherry and pomegranate, along with the complexity of a fine wine.

Onyx Coffee Lab: Ethiopia Agaro Yukro G1

Yukro is produced by smallholder farmers in Wanja Kersa, in Ethiopia’s western Agaro region. Agaro’s earlier harvest makes this one of the first fresh washed Ethiopian coffees to arrive each year, while meticulous processing at the Yukro washing station delivers a clean, sweet, and floral profile with remarkable longevity. Versatile enough for both single-origin service and blending, Yukro will be a cornerstone of our 2026 summer coffee program.
Blueprint Coffee: Adamo, Ethiopia

Our longtime sourcing partner and founder of Sookoo Coffee, Ture Waji, operates in remote areas of Ethiopia’s Guji zone. This naturally processed offering was processed at their Adamo station, carefully drying the intact cherries to create a cup exploding with deep fruity and floral flavor. Sookoo is celebrated for offering remarkably clean, consistent, beautiful specialty coffees.
Cartel Roasting Co.: KENYA KIANGOI AA

Kiangoi Factory’s 950 members uphold rigorous quality standards from cherry to cup. Ripe cherries are depulped, fermented to break down sugars, then dried on raised beds. Located in Kirinyaga County, south of Mount Kenya, the region benefits from glacier-fed rivers that provide a vital water source for coffee processing.
Partners Coffee: Kenya – Rianjagi AA

This wonderful AA lot from the Rianjagi cooperative in Embu County captures one of the profiles we love in Kenyan coffees. Ripe blackberry and sweet clementine, golden raisin, molasses, and candied ginger come together in a delightful, super drinkable cup.
