So, my daughter may have outed my journal to friends at school ... I panicked and deleted my journal yesterday. I REALLY don't want to meet my 14 year old daughter's school friends wondering if they've read my mature slash or not. (Yes, it's flagged as 17 or over, but what if they lied about their age? Yes, I'm paranoid. Moving on.) I mean, it's not my problem if they read it, but I'd rather neither of us know I'm the author. But, apparently my daughter doesn't share my sentiments on privacy and appropriateness.

After much discussion and dithering, I've returned with a new name. I will NOT friend her journal and she will NEVER give mine out.

So, this is just a PSA to let everyone know about the name change. I was marys-scribbles, now spoonlessone. Thanks for the attention and now back to my regularly scheduled lurking. :D

I've moved my screencaps from photobucket to my site. Not that there's a whole lot but I've got Alec in a couple of episodes of Season 2 Dark Angel (Designate This and The Berrisford Agenda). I've also got some Highlander -- flashbacks from several episodes and then of course some Methos. Anyway, they're here. I've also changed the link in my sidebar.

Amazon has science fiction and fantasy show DVDs 50% off. Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dark Angel, X-Files, Stargate, Smallville, etc are included. Not trying to be an advert here but if any were waiting like me for better prices on complete series, this might be a good to buy.

Just a note to any who might be confused. I've renamed my journal from crazy4rog to marys_scribbles. LJ claims there shouldn't be any fallout re: flist and community memberships, etc. I'll get back to you on that one.

Finally got around to opening an account there. Posted a few stories. They are under the pen name marys_scribbles.

I'm still getting comment notifications rather sporadically. Very odd really and totally inconsistent. Glad I don't have to debug that problem. *vbg*

When I went over here to log my complaint, I learnt they already know it's wonky. But they suggested this little tool to see all the comments posted to your journal in reverse chronological order. Pretty nifty. So now hopefully I can keep up with who I owe comments to in my own journal. Won't do a lot for other people journals or communities, but it's a bit of help.
