A golden age cinema with a capacity of 550 in business sometime after the war, ultimately closing in the late 1970s. It has since been redeveloped into shops and residences, and part of the sloping roof can still be seen over a motorcycle dealership built within it. The shape of the cinema is also obvious from the alleyway behind the building. There might have also been a Zhongxing Theater (中興戲院) in town at some point, although that could reflect a name change or refer to a short-lived open-air theater in Beipu.
