Completed in 1972, Paris Theater anchored a circular commercial complex on the northeast side of the historic city center of Bangkok. It went out of business in 2005 and the lobby was soon repurposed for use by the surrounding market vendors. Migrant workers also occupied the interior, barring access to curious explorers in the 2010s. It was finally demolished around 2023 and transformed into a parking lot.
