The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is proud to announce its participation as a co-leader in the newly expanded ASCEND 2026, scheduled to take place 19–21 May 2026 in Washington, D.C. In partnership with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the Commercial Spaceflight Federation (CSF), and the Space Force Association (SFA), SGAC will help shape a new integrated event format aimed at catalyzing collaboration across policy, commerce, national security, and innovation.
In 2001, SGAC established a 501c(3) non-profit organization registered in the USA, a separate SGAC entity for supporting SGAC operations in and from the USA. More recently, SGAC has revised and updated its governance structure within the US entity, including the structure of the US Board. The Board of Directors of the US Entity consists of the SGAC Chairs, Joshua Critchley-Marrows and Sapna Rao, together with the incoming Class A directors that will support the management of the US Entity.
The European Space Agency (ESA), in collaboration with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), is pleased to announce the ESA–SGAC Scholarship. The theme for this year’s scholarship is: “Shaping a Resilient Future for Earth from Space.”

The Space Generation Advisory Council is looking for an active young space leader from the Europe region to become the next Regional Coordinator (RC) for this Region. This two-year role is a volunteer position that offers a chance to lead and be responsible for the voice of the next generation of young space leaders in the Europe region, especially as activities and excitement in the region have expanded over the past years in the space sector, and at SGAC.
