Dear Friend of the Arts,
This year we celebrate a remarkable milestone—the 10th Anniversary of the Chopin IN The City Festival, taking place February 20th – March 1st, 2026, across Chicago, with a performance in Madison, WI.
For the past decade, the festival has brought together world-class musicians, artists, and performers to reimagine Fryderyk Chopin’s legacy through jazz, classical, folk, dance, theater, and visual art. What began as a vision is now a tradition that bridges cultures and generations, honoring Chopin’s genius while inspiring new creativity.
The 10th edition promises to live up to this milestone, featuring international stars alongside some of Chicago’s top musicians. Highlights include Hershey Felder’s acclaimed Monsieur Chopin at the Harris Theater, performances by the Jaroslaw Bester Quartet, Atom String Quartet, Jim Gailloreto Group, Katie Ernst, Matt Ulery Quintet, and Grazyna Auguscik Group, plus family favorites like Painting Chopin. The festival concludes with innovative performances by the Quin Kirchner Quartet and the Rob Clearfield Quartet.
But a festival of this scope and spirit is only possible with the support of friends like you. Your donation makes a real difference. It allows us to keep ticket prices accessible, support the incredible artists who bring this vision to life, and share Chopin’s legacy with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
As we celebrate ten extraordinary years, we invite you to join us in shaping the future. Please consider making a tax-deductible gift today at www.soundsandnotes.org/donate. Together, we can ensure this anniversary year is our most exciting yet.
Thank you for standing with us, for celebrating the arts, and for helping us keep Chopin’s spirit alive in fresh, creative, and inspiring ways.
With gratitude,
